Informational material on “Gender Responsive Budgeting”
The budget is the most significant tool of public policy, and the establishment of gender equality in budget processes by means of gender-based budget assessment, gender mainstreaming at all levels of the budget process and restructuring revenues and expenditures to enhance gender equality, can narrow the gender gap.
With respect to this, the Parliamentary Budget Office and the Secretariat of the Competitiveness Council have drafted informational material on “Gender Responsive Budgeting”.
