Representatives of the Parliamentary Budget Office of the Parliament of Montenegro held a meeting with representatives of the Parliamentary Budget Office of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia. During the meeting, it was stated that the recent cooperation has been carried out in a high-quality manner and that there was a necessary to take further steps for its intensification. It was referred that employees in parliamentary budget offices were prepared for cooperation and exchange of information and experiences, and willing to support concrete activities directed at further development of parliamentary services and development of modern mechanisms for ensuring support of good quality to MPs.

During the meeting, the experiences of employees in parliamentary budget offices have been discussed with reference to the scope of work and drafting of research papers, i.e., analytical information materials and summaries of relevant official national and international institutions’ publications on topics that are of significance for the implementation of economic and fiscal policy.

Along with representatives of the Parliament of Montenegro, the meeting was attended by representatives of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, namely Deputy Secretary-General Mr Miki Milkovski, Head of the Parliamentary Budget Office Mr Petar Minov, representative of the Office Ms Katerina Tasevska, and the program manager of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy in North Macedonia Mr Petar Trajkov.
